ABSTRACT
Terpenoids or isoprenoids are envisaged as one of the most promising discoveries in science and medicine owing to the array of benefits they offer humanity. Taking into consideration the vast resources that lay ahead, the terpenoids are becoming known as the largest class of natural compounds, chiefly present in a wide variety of fruits, vegetables and medicinal plants and holding a rich treasure of cytotoxic machinery against tumor cells and preclinical animal models as studies have shown so far.
