ABSTRACT

Under the action of earthquake, the buried pipeline will be seriously damaged. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the seismic response characteristics of buried pipeline under different parameters. However, the current researches on this subject are less. In view of this, the numerical models were established by FLAC3D with three different buried depths and three different pipe diameters, and the seismic response laws were compared and analyzed. In addition, the difference between the Kobe wave and El-Centro wave on the seismic response characteristics was also studied under a working condition. The results of this study can provide a reliable theoretical basis for the seismic design of buried pipeline.
