ABSTRACT

In spite of a strong commercial interest in hot dipped aluminised steel strip, research over the past 60 years has been somewhat piecemeal. A relatively smaller body of work exists on this material compared with the equivalent galvanised product but the lack of systematic study and development means that it is difficult to rationalise and appraise the existing literature. This review is intended to provide an overall view of the salient results of previous work, providing key entry points to available literature.
