ABSTRACT
In saline hysterosonography, saline is instilled into the uterine cavity in order to evaluate the shape of the cavity and the presence of polyps, myomas, or adhesions. This chapter discusses the indications, contraindications, methods, and practical considerations as well as the high diagnostic accuracy of the method.
