ABSTRACT
In this chapter we identify a set of key messages that emerge when the contributions presented in this book are considered together as a body of HFE work in sport. We subsequently identify a series of important future areas of work for HFE in sport. These areas include technology insertion, the use of HFE to disrupt illicit behaviours (e.g. doping), risk assessment, para-sport, applications of HFE across sports system design lifecycles, and the simulation of sports system behaviour.
