ABSTRACT

Calamintha nepetoides Jordan (Syn. Satúrela nepetoides Rouy, Satúrela calamintha), variety nepetoides Briquet, is a member of the Labiaceae family. It is a perennial herb, 30 to 85 cm high, native to alpine regions in France and Switzerland, and to Oriental Europe and western Asia. Calcareous, arid zones of middle mountains are often its natural habitat.
