ABSTRACT
Caryopteris (Bunge) is a genus of about six species of shrubs or subshrubs in the family Verbenaceae. 2 All are native to east Asia. Selections have been introduced into Europe and North America as ornamentals — they flower prolifically in late summer and have a lavenderlike scent.
