ABSTRACT
Broomrape (Orobanche spp.) plants, members of the Orobanchaceae, are root parasites of dicotyledonous plants. The family contains 13 genera and approximately 130 species. 17 The genus Orobanche, with its 90 species, is the largest in the family. 13 Most of the species are annual herbs.
