ABSTRACT
Whenever client/server systems are developed and introduced into existing large-size information systems environments, the need to have bidirectional access to legacy data is inevitable. Few developers have the luxury of building these systems without first having to inquire against or update to other databases or files somewhere else in the organization’s infrastructure.
