ABSTRACT
As mentioned in Chapter 5, a conditionally exempt small quantity generator qualifies for a set of special (reduced) requirements, provided the small quantities of hazardous waste are managed properly and not allowed to accumulate onsite above certain levels. The very limited regulatory requirements for hazardous waste generated by conditionally exempt small quantity generators are found at 40 CFR 261.5.
