ABSTRACT
This chapter presents an analytical tool to be used by companies who require a visual presentation of the managerial efforts concerning maintenance. The tool can be used (1) to increase awareness of how the organization handles the managerial maintenance tasks, and (2) as a preliminary means of analysis before the company designs a new maintenance strategy. The chapter includes examples of maintenance management profiles for some different industrial companies. The examples illustrate how pitfalls in the management of the maintenance tasks can be detected.
