Removal of Toxic Organics from Wastewater Generated in Tank Truck Washing Facilities

The Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County (LACSD) provide sewerage service to most of Los Angeles County outside the City of Los Angeles. Within this service area are over 9,000 industrial companies and in excess of four million people. Included within the group of industrial companies are nineteen tank truck washing facilities.
