ABSTRACT

A process that marks the development of the economies is the different processes of buying and selling products/services that demanded by a segment or the whole market. They are processes that at present show a great influence on the current deterioration of the environment in three ways: productive processes, use of resources (overuse of resources, which, in many cases, cause their scarcity), and effects of the products on the environment (use and waste). Thus, in the last decade, the work of different NGOs, governments, and people concerned about this situation and aimed at raising awareness among producers and consumers of the importance of mitigating this environmental impact (Diamantopoulos et al., 2003), which results in a change of values.
