In other words, these products help to preserve the environment by significantly reducing the pollution, they could produce. Eco-products are also known as environment-friendly products or green products as they cause minimal harm to people and the environment (OECD, 2008). The green products include solar-powered, wind-powered, and hydro-powered products. Solar energy can be used to generate electricity which is further utilized to operate electrical appliances, vehicles. Solar energy product includes solar fountains, solar water heater, solar light/bulb, solar inverter, solar battery charger, and solar oven (Grupp, 2012; Lorenzo, 1994; Baumann et al., 2002). In other words, the home appliances, which can run with the help of solar power, are kept in this category.
