ABSTRACT
The want of basic provisions of life, in the simplest sense, is called poverty. We are familiar that poverty is the issue of underdeveloped and developed countries of the world. It is not easy to get rid of the demon of poverty. It is like a nightmare which haunts you for generations. There are different kinds of poverty which exist in the world such as absolute poverty, situational poverty, transitory poverty, and relative poverty. All the above-mentioned types of poverty exist in our beloved homeland despite the best efforts of our political machinery. According to statistical analysis, more than half of the population of Pakistan live under the poverty line if $2 is the minimum daily wage. The consequences of this heavy burden of debt is alarming. The 5-year development plan never reaches its goals of eradicating poverty and the country suffers because people must face extra taxes to pay the debts. Now, it is high time for Pakistan to get rid of poverty by the establishment world-class policies.
