ABSTRACT
The study investigates the possibility of cultivation of Arctic raspberry (Rubus arcticus L.) on cutover peatlands in conditions of Kirov region (Volga-Vyatka region). Morphometric and productive parameters of the species are determined. Plants of Arctic raspberry on the experimental plot grow and bear fruit successfully under regional conditions; and are also characterized by high winter hardness. Arctic raspberry is a promising species for cultivation in southern taiga subzone of European part of Russia.
