ABSTRACT
The large field of application of IVIG has been recently reviewed, as were their immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory mechanisms of action (1,2). This growing usage has increased the need for high-quality IVIG, and indeed the large experience acquired with these products, even in high dosage, confirms that side effects are rare and often mild.
