ABSTRACT
The following list of priority scientific questions emerged from discussions at the two GMBA workshops (Moshi, Tanzania, 2002; La Paz, Bolivia, 2003), along with the need to address them in a concerted approach across the world’s highland biota, with particular focus on the tropics and subtropics. This list exemplifies the required research, but is not exhaustive.
