ABSTRACT
Staplers can only utilize certain sizes of staples. Determining whether a stapler can actually operate using the staples in question is an appropriate first step in utilizing basic class characteristic comparisons. Some staplers have limited capacities. For instance, in cases involving numerous pages, experimentation may be warranted as to whether the stapler in question has the capability of binding the number of pages that are in question. Finally, document examiners should keep in mind that manually operated staplers rely on human pressure for their activation, which is subject to variation.
