ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses the policy considerations, framework, and actions necessary to embed accessible medical equipment and instrumentation into health care policy and practice. For this to become commonplace in the health care system, advocates need to engage and build public–private partnerships at all levels of government and across service, education, and research systems.
