With human infections caused by Gram-positive organisms on the rise, it is imperative that these organisms get identied as expeditiously as possible. However, because of the sheer multitude of Gram-positive organisms that are implicated in disease, identication of these organisms can be challenging. What follows is a synopsis of identication methods for Gram-positive organisms that can hopefully make the process easier.
