ABSTRACT
In this chapter, the author, James E. Kennedy, points to the pitfalls in attempting to implement enterprisewide software and ways to better plan and implement the effort. His message supports the messages of other chapters calling for systems that fit with strategy and the need for excellence in project management to implement the technology.
