ABSTRACT
For nearly fi ve decades, polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (PAGE) has endured as an essential method for macromolecular separations. Obligatory preamble aside, the potential of PAGE has not been fully realized. It remains in its formative years, with further development still ongoing.
