ABSTRACT
The anodic oxidation of hydrocarbons is a convenient method for the preparation of a number of useful products, which in many cases can be prepared only with difficulty by other methods. Examples are given next together with a short discussion of some preparative aspects. More comprehensive treatments are available [29-31].
