ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses some aspects of the electrolysis of hcterocyclic compounds. The emphasis is on systems in which the electrochemical properties differ from those of the
corresponding carbocyclic compounds. The discussion is divided in three main sections: electrolytic formation of heterocyclic systems, electrolytic reactions of heterocyclic systems, and electrolytic reactions of substituted heterocyclic compounds.
