ABSTRACT
Chemical sensors and biosensors are of increasing interest within the ¢eld of modern analytical chemistry. This is essentially due to new demands particularly in clinical diagnostics, environmental analysis, food analysis, and production monitoring, as well as the detection of illicit drugs, genotoxicity, and chemical warfare agents. Another application area that has been opening up during the last few years is drug screening.
