ABSTRACT
Data administration program assessments are performed for many reasons, which determine the assessment’s perspective. Institutionalizing data administration activities throughout the organization is similar to the way in which personnel management functions are integrated with other organizational functions. The data administrator should attend One-on-one interview meeting too, so the interviewer can concentrate on collecting the information and the data administrator can answer questions about the program. If the goal is to collect customers’ opinions of the data administration program, customer comment cards can provide the opportunity for them to comment on every interaction with the data administration program. Some similarities exist among the lists of the important data administration functions constructed from the responses to Advanced Information Resource Management surveys. For purposes of conducting a data administration program assessment, it would be better to keep the number of types of customers small, but significant.
