ABSTRACT
The importance of the system specification phase is directly proportional to the respective system complexity. Embedded systems have become more and more complex not only due to the increasing system’s dimension, but also due to the interactions among the different system design aspects. These include, among others, correctness, platform heterogeneity, performance, power consumption, costs, and time-to-market.
