ABSTRACT
Due to advances in integrated circuits (ICs) fabrication technology and Micro Electro Mechanical Systems (MEMSs) [1, 2], it is now commercially feasible to manufacture ICs with sensing, signal processing, memory, and other relevant components built into them. Such ICs enabled with RF communication bring forth a new kind of network, which are self-organizing and application specific. These networks are referred to as wireless sensor networks.
