ABSTRACT
A schedule is a statement of the tasks and activities to be performed over time. Project scheduling deals with the establishment of timetables and dates during which various resources, such as equipment and personnel, will be used to perform the activities required to complete the project. Schedules are the cornerstones of the planning and control system; and because of their importance, they are often written into the contract by the customer.
