ABSTRACT
The concept behind industrial engineering is to regulate, predict, and evaluate the performance of systems. Such systems may comprise humans, materials, equipment, information, and power resources, all of which can be examined by applying the special knowledge and technology of mathematics, natural science, and social science, along with the theorems and methods of engineering analysis and design. Industrial engineering may be broadly applied in both industry and academia.
