ABSTRACT
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is a condition in men that increases in prevalence and incidence as a direct correlation with age. Between the ages of 50 and 60, 50% of men are afflicted with this disease, and as many as 90% of men older than 80 years of age are affected.
