ABSTRACT
During the last 30 years, specialized marine mammal transport techniques and equipment have been developed to cope with the unique physiology of marine mammals. Therefore, safe, successful transportation is possible with the proper attention to detail and the use of technology appropriate to the type of marine mammal being transported.
