ABSTRACT

This chapter shows that mathematical description of real discontinuous systems includes some additional relations defined the order of changing one equation by another. These conditions axe obtained by preliminary analysis of a mathematical model of the discontinuous system under consideration. Control systems often include a large number of nonlinear transformators called relay elements. The chapter discusses a general mathematical description of various relay elements as a class of special nonlinear discrete operators. Logical elements are described by a special class of relay operators with several input and several outputs, each of them able to assume a number of discrete values. Consider sensitivity equations for a system including, except for a relay with a dead zone, a pure delay element, where the delay changes at the switching moments. The chapter considers the break conditions for the sensitivity functions.
