ABSTRACT
Bloodstain Pattern Terminology Given that various organizations and individuals have helped define the history of bloodstain pattern analysis, as well as the existence of a number of different bloodstain classification systems, the reader should not be surprised that no single set of terms is available for bloodstain pattern analysis. Unfortunately, every analyst has a way of adding and customizing terms. In this chapter, we offer our own perspective of terminology. This terminology should not be construed as all-inclusive or absolute, but we will attempt to encompass varying ideas on the subject.
