ABSTRACT
Advances in information and communication technologies and in particular digital representation and processing of data, together with the vast connectivity of the Internet, have resulted in major challenges to the security of valuable multimedia works, private data, and sensitive corporate information. The owners of such information need protection against reproduction and/or distribution and use of the information beyond their immediate control.
