ABSTRACT
Issue Environmental hazard models are based on a theoretical framework, assumptions, and a set of interrelated dynamics that can change over time. Users of models must understand the purpose and limitations of hazard models and how they can be used in decision making, public policy, and the development of hazards risk management and hazard mitigation strategies.
