ABSTRACT
Secondary Police School, thus fulfilling my longtime wish to become a police officer and somewhere along the line a criminal investigator. My interest in the vocation was reflected in my performance at school as I finished the education with distinction. My criminalistics teacher recommended me to the chief of the criminal police service at the Ljubljana Police Directorate, who took me on and assigned me to the homicide and sex crime squad. As a young and keen criminal investigator I was quick to grasp the first steps of criminalistics. By 1987 I completed my degree at the College of Law in Maribor.
