ABSTRACT
In order to understand the vulnerabilities of plumbing systems, the preferred design features must be understood. Even these preferred design systems have inherent vulnerabilities and may constitute preventative maintenance challenges. This chapter illustrates the basis of preferred pluming system design for most government buildings as a basis for understanding plumbing design principles for all buildings.
