ABSTRACT
As the vulnerability of a facility or site is assessed, one of the key components should be the status of emergency planning. When appropriately designed, these plans, policies, and procedures can have a major impact upon occupant survivability. This chapter presents emergency planning elements that are often overlooked, but it is not an exhaustive emergency planning template.
