WIND farmer volunteers together with local ergonomists and OSH practitioners make follow-up visits to the farmer participants 2-3 months after the initial WIND training workshop. Farmers usually implement their initial, low-cost improvements before the fi rst follow-up visit by the trainers. The follow-up visits are important for learning about the improvement efforts of the farmers and for encouraging them to continue innovative improvement actions.
