ABSTRACT
Werner Grandl was born in Vienna, Austria. He attended the Technical University Vienna, where he earned a degree in architecture in 1984; in 1985 he was in the military service of the Austrian Air Force; from 1986 to 1993 he had experience in some engineering offices; from 1994 to 2008 he was a freelance architect and civil engineer, and since 1986 he has conducted and published studies on space stations and space colonies.
