ABSTRACT
Pierre-Yves Hicher is currently professor of civil engineering at Ecole Centrale de Nantes, France and director of the Research Institute in Civil and Mechanical Engineering, UMR CNRS-Ecole Centrale Nantes-University of Nantes. His principal research activity and publications lie in the field of the mechanical behavior of soils and granular materials.
