ABSTRACT
A number of authors point at the signifi cant increase of diff erent forms of anomie* in modern towns, as well as people with strange behavior. Th e most frequent and typical forms of urban anomie are: suicides, violence, professional off enses, vagrancy, drug addiction, sexual pathology, psychosis, neurosis, and mass mental epidemics.
