ABSTRACT

Large networks have been used to model and analyze many real world phenomena including biomolecular systems. Although graph theoretic modeling in systems biology is still in its infancy, network-based analyses of cellular systems have already been used to address many important biological questions. We survey methods for analyzing, modeling, and comparing large biological networks that have given insights into biological function and disease.
