ABSTRACT
Pollution has grown to proportions where a reasonable solution to the total problem is almost unfathomable, but not necessarily unattainable. One of the human problems has always been the proper disposal of refuse. Upon the discovery that diseases and illnesses develop as the result of inadequate and unsanitary disposal of wastes, demand for sanitary systems grew. Industrial pollution then started to become intolerable to society.
