ABSTRACT
At present, there are two major industrial energy sources in use: fossil fuel and nuclear energy. Fossil fuel may be subdivided according to the various raw fuels such as coal, oil, natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, wood, smoke, coke, refining gas, blast furnace gas, and byproduct fuels. This section covers only the three major fossil fuels: coal, oil, and natural gas.
