ABSTRACT
An IP PBX is different in almost every other respect. Not only is it easier and less costly to operate and maintain, it operates with different technology. The IP PBX has paid off for the corporations using it through reduced manpower and by eliminating an entire (telephone) network. This chapter provides other payoff ideas and an explanation of the technology behind the IP PBX.
