ABSTRACT

Tremor is the most common movement disorder in multiple sclerosis (MS).!1! Severe tremor may, by itself, preclude effective use of the extremi ties, although it is most often associated with other impairments. Unfortunately, medical and rehabilitative therapies for MS tremor are of limited efficacy. Thalamic surgery, originally developed for other types of tremor, has been used with some success in carefully selected patients.
