ABSTRACT
The First Amendment, much like the Fourth and Fifth Amendments, provides some of the strongest protections for individual freedom within the Constitution. More citizens know they have more protections under the First, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments than under any of the other amendments combined. Unfortunately, most citizens do not fully understand these protections, short of knowing cursory titles such as “Freedom of Speech” or “Freedom of Religion.”
